Well hello there…I am Miss Beatrice.
I am very pleased to make your acquaintance. Pour a cup of tea and I will tell you a bit about myself. With a name like Beatrice, and a pretty face like mine, you would think I came from a good home. However, I spent a good amount of time living on the street like a vagabond. Scrounging for food and avoiding cars...quite an unlady like life, but a girl has to do what she must to survive.
My life of misadventure ended abruptly, and without my consent, when I found myself trapped and in the slammer, also known as “the pound.” A nice Furever Friends volunteer realized that a girl like me does not belong there, and she put me up in a lovely B&B called “A Foster Home." How was my stay you ask? Let me give you a bit of a review.
At first, I was a bit skeptical about this new living situation but I felt it was worth a try. The staff fussed over me and as the days went by I found I quite enjoyed their company. My chats with the housekeeper became my favourite part of the day. The other feline patrons, I could do without. I requested to move to a more private accommodation and that suited me much better.
There is a young lady on staff here who offers an excellent recreational program. My favourites are the wand toy exercise class, a bird watching course, and movie night. I very much look forward to the 5-star meals served regularly and often lick the bowl clean…I recommend the chicken pate. The canine patron leaves me alone, and I quite enjoy her respectful company.
I also enjoy the spa days at the B&B. The brushing and cuddling are my favourite. I show my appreciation with head bumps and belly rubs.
All and all, my B&B foster home stay gets great reviews. However, I am looking for a more permanent situation. Somewhere I can be a family member, not just a guest. So, do you think I could be a part of your family?
